- The Manta Group has extensive experience developing, operating and implementing portfolio management processes in accordance with best practices defined by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Our consultants have at least 5+ years experience in project portfolio analysis with responsibilities including creating and managing a PMO.
Service Brief:
Customer Requirement - The business would like to sponsor and implement a large list of projects for the upcoming fiscal year. However, there is a demand to complete more projects than the yearly budget will allow. Management is unable to “quantify” the right decisions while managing schedules, resources and budgets.
Manta Solution - Provide a consultant to take a hard look at the current state and to rebalance and create Project Portfolio for the fiscal year’s projects to:
- Ensure strategic alignment of projects
- Prioritize Projects based on a weight/scoring criteria
- Assess resource workloads of the enterprise and plan for over-allocations
- Identify trade-offs in resource allocations or prioritizing projects in the portfolio
- Prevent execution of sub-optimal projects
- Provide standards for selection, prioritization and analysis of existing and future projects based on merit (relative value contribution)
